3. Project Agreement

Before any work begins, a project agreement will be created and signed by both parties. This agreement will outline the full scope of work, timelines, payment schedules, and any other relevant terms and conditions for the project. 4. Payment Terms

Payments for services will be based on the agreed-upon schedule outlined in the project agreement. We accept multiple payment methods, including but not limited to checks, bank transfers, and credit cards. The payment structure will generally consist of the following:


A deposit is required before work begins.Progress payments will be due as work progresses according to the payment schedule.A final payment is due upon the satisfactory completion of the project.


Clients will be provided with an invoice at each payment stage, and payments must be made promptly to avoid delays.


5. Changes to Scope of Work

Should there be any changes or adjustments to the scope of work once the project has started, these modifications will need to be agreed upon in writing by both parties. Additional costs may apply depending on the changes requested. We will provide a revised estimate if the scope or complexity of the work is altered.


6. Project Timeline

Jhomar Developments will make every reasonable effort to complete the project within the time frame specified in the project agreement. However, we cannot be held liable for delays caused by circumstances outside of our control, including but not limited to:

In case of delays, we will notify the Client promptly and provide a revised project timeline.


7. Permits and Approvals

It is the responsibility of the Client to obtain any necessary permits or approvals for the renovation work. Jhomar Developments may assist in securing permits if required, but the Client is ultimately responsible for ensuring compliance with all local zoning laws, building codes, and other applicable regulations.


8. Warranties and Guarantees

Jhomar Developments provides a warranty on the work performed for a period of one (1) year from the date of project completion. This warranty covers defects in workmanship. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, wear and tear, or natural disasters. For materials used in your project, the applicable manufacturer warranties will apply. We will assist with warranty claims if necessary.


9. Client Responsibilities

As a Client, you agree to:


Provide clear instructions and expectations for the project.Ensure that the work area is accessible and free of obstructions during the course of the project.Make timely payments in accordance with the agreed-upon payment schedule.Notify Jhomar Developments promptly of any issues or concerns that arise during the project.


10. Liability and Insurance

Jhomar Developments maintains appropriate insurance to cover the company and its employees throughout the duration of the project. Our insurance includes:


General liability insurance, Workers' compensation insurance, Property damage insurance


While we strive to minimize risk, Jhomar Developments cannot be held liable for damages resulting from unforeseen events or acts of nature, such as floods, fires, or natural disasters.


11. Termination of Agreement

Either party may terminate the project agreement by providing written notice to the other party. If the agreement is terminated, the Client will be responsible for payment for all work completed up until the point of termination, including any materials that were ordered and are non-returnable. Jhomar Developments will issue a final invoice reflecting these charges.


12. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the services provided by Jhomar Developments, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute through informal negotiations. If a resolution cannot be reached, the parties agree to mediate the dispute before seeking legal action. Mediation costs will be shared equally by both parties.


13. Privacy and Confidentiality

Jhomar Developments respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. We will not share or sell your information to third parties without your explicit consent, except when required by law. Any confidential information shared during the project will be kept confidential and used solely for the purposes of the project.


14. Indemnification

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold Jhomar Developments, its officers, employees, and agents harmless from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of the Client's failure to comply with the terms and conditions of this agreement or any other misconduct during the course of the project.


15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any disputes or claims related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Jersey.


16. Modifications to Terms

Jhomar Developments reserves the right to update, amend, or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the Client in writing, and the updated Terms will take effect once shared. By continuing to engage with our services after such modifications, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms.
